Today, that spirit continues under the leadership of Matthew Moutsatsos and Justin Chaumont — two passionate hosts who believe great restaurants are built on warmth, generosity, and unforgettable food.
Together, Matt and Justin are dedicated to preserving what has made Kouzzina a beloved destination for decades, while continuing to elevate the experience for a new generation of guests.
Their approach is simple: create a place where people feel welcomed the moment they walk through the door, where the atmosphere is lively, the service is thoughtful, and the food brings people together.
With the introduction of Mazi, the experience expands even further. Inspired by the Greek word for “together,” Mazi embraces the spirit of shared plates, conversation, and connection — inviting guests to explore bold Mediterranean flavours in a vibrant, social setting.
While the restaurant continues to evolve, its foundation remains deeply rooted in family and tradition. Kouzzina was originally built by Leslie and Junior Moutsatsos, whose passion for hospitality helped shape the restaurant into a cornerstone of Sudbury’s dining scene.
